About

I am a maker. I love yarn, fabrics, and texture. I am a mother, sister, daughter, photographer, and film-maker.

I picked up the craft of crocheting at the age of 16 from a woman whom I happened to notice crocheting clothes for dolls. From that day forward, crocheting has been the catalyst for my creative evolution. Whether I am baking vegan cookies or designing earings, planning an organic garden or a Moroccan inspired Quincenera, Photographing or Filming my family's daily adventures, crocheting remains my core creative outlet.

Creativity has the been the catalyst in my life. It allows me to feel alive, fresh, like I am learning and creating new things. Creativity holds my attention the longest and allows me solve problems, give solutions, and navigate life with grace and ease. Creativity fuels my entire being and allows me to thrive and express myself.

On this site you will find my creative endeavors from crochet, to photography, to life's musings. I share my creativity under the guise of life stories, the ups and downs of motherhood, and the quest to push my creativity.

I hold a B.A. and J.D. from Rutgers University. I live in NJ with my tall, dark, and handsome prince, a kindergartner, a preschooler and a UNC college student. When I am not being creative I am journaling my heart out or sipping a fine cup of tea.
