Courage is my theme for this week’s Project 26. Courage, well, takes a lot of courage and given my life’s ups and downs, and my current emotional state (called pregnancy), I, many times, feel like just shutting the door and going back to sleep. Sometimes it gets hard to get out of bed or to look forward to things when you feel down and out. But I know that it’s fear that holds me back. It actually takes courage to get rid of fear. So it’s with great trust and faith that I listen to Nelson Mandela’s words when he says:
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.
The brave [wo]man is not [s]he who does not feel afraid, but [s]he who conquers that fear.
I will have the courage to conquer my fears and resist the urge to lock the world out. Courage is never ending. Please join me in visiting Renee to see how she interpreted the Letter C.
